Re: "invalid timecodes" when ripping 3D MVC ISOs

I know it’s not the answer you’re looking for, but have you tried going back to your original discs?

I’ve had no issues ripping physical 3D discs in the latest versions.

Re: 1.15.1 - AV sync issues

Seeing similar issues with "Red Dwarf - Back to Earth" which I recently bought. Huge numbers of timecode issues where it jumps forward and then immediately back by either ~33ms or ~66ms. Does anybody know if there is a workaround until this is fixed? If you're seeing that ms info listed, ...

Re: Getting the same exact error across multiple discs in a boxset

While Medium Errors are generally an indication of a problem disc (especially for Blu-rays), I sometimes get Medium Errors for DVDs on my Blu-ray drive but then when I switch to a different drive, an older DVD drive, they rip perfectly. So for DVDs, my solution has been to use a different drive.

Re: Doctor Who - The Collection Season 10

Well, nobody replied ... The specific error is: "Fatal error occurred, program will now quit". This is a slower paced forum and most of the support comes from fellow users. Which version of MakeMKV are you using? If you're using the newest version 1.15.2, try using an earlier version. The...

Re: What is "SEG"?

I always assumed segment as well. My understanding is that these "Comments" appear for discs where MakeMKV uses Java to process BD+ code, notably fake playlist discs. (Although it seems that the Main Feature is not always being identified correctly .) Here's a list of titles I currently ha...

Re: Smallville Season 1 Disc 3

Interesting... I had no problems with this series way back when, and I have no problems with it now. I just loaded Season 1 Disc 3 quickly to check - on the system I checked it, I currently have an old version 1.14.2 installed (given the current issues with 1.15.2, it might be nice for MakeMKV to ha...

Re: Lord of the Rings horrible audio rip

If you didn't see any errors, MakeMKV will have copied the audio exactly as it is on the disc. If you have authentic Blu-rays and they play fine in a normal Blu-ray player, then the issue may be with your playback software or settings. I had no issues with the extended trilogy and have never had dis...

I agree it would be nice if the old versions contained the previous version, I've started keeping the older versions now after I had a similar issue.

I'll send you a PM with the previous version.

Re: A Simple Favor (US Retail)

Well shoot, you're absolutely right. "FPL_MainFeature" is NOT correct. I thought that the comments came from Java identification that was on the disc itself, meaning that they were supposed to be correct? I wonder if any more of my rips where I have trusted this are incorrect as well. Edit...

Re: MKV User Manual?

A lot of times there are titles with no audio depending on the content of the title, things like copyright notices, etc. Although from what I can tell on the screen, I guess this title is 6:17 in length, so it wouldn't seem to fall under one of those scenarios. I'm assuming you ripped the title to s...
