MPLS 800 has English subs burned in for the Na'vi language. Nothing else.
MPLS 801 has no subs burned in at all.

I do not have Avatar (2009), so I can't confirm, but Way of Water is as follows: MPLS 800 has English subtitles burned in for the Na'vi language. MPLS 801 has not subs burned in at all.

What does 'forced subtitles' mean? I didn't get this part. Forced Subtitles are subtitles that display even when you have subtitles turned off. A classic example is Sean Connery speaking Russian at the beginning of The Hunt for Red October (1990) . Is this the same as 'hardsubs' aka 'baked in' subs...

If MakeMKV is telling you the playlists are identical, you're good. The playlist itself is less important, it's the segment maps and files they reference that matter. The playlist (mpls) just tells the UHD/BD player what order to play the m2ts files, which actually house the audio/video streams. Whe...
