Re: Please note... ...is not supported
I don't need 4K HDR Dolby Video 47.9 HYPEr definition audio. I just want to watch stuff without spending 20 minutes preparing to watch stuff. And the only way I can currently do that is at my computer workstation, running VLC, with stereo speakers. Find the file I want to watch, double click, and s...

Re: ET The Extra-Terrestrial
I have had this also for serval discs in the past with older AACS versions. Looks that sometimes MakeMKV or the Drive has some strange problem. Restarting the system solves this kind of trouble for me in all cases.

The only way is to click right on an title, use "deselect all" and reselect the titles you want to rip.

Re: MakeMKV files vs original VIDEO_TS/.IFO for archival/future proofing purposes?
Any flag or name can be changed with the "MKVToolNIX GUI" header editor Just to clarify, this can be done with the MKV file after it's gone through MakeMKV? Yes, sure! MKVToolNIX is "THE" tool to change, add, delete, modify contens of the mkv files. It's a must to have it!

Re: MakeMKV files vs original VIDEO_TS/.IFO for archival/future proofing purposes?
1. Subtitles - default MKV flag handling issue. Can this issue be fixed post MakeMKV rip or is the only fix to re-rip from original raw files (VIDEO_TS/.IFO etc.) https://makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&p=83938 Any flag or name can be changed with the "MKVToolNIX GUI" header edito...

Re: Feature request: saving advanced settings
Also, I navigate by folders rather by some fancy stuff that needs to scan the content and then brings up bad results. I use Media Players from "Dune HD" and this is working with folder structures. What I don't understand is this profile thing. I can set some profiles in advanced mode but ...

Re: Mortal Engines "wrong aspect ration"
MediaInfo does not know the real aspect ratio of an movie. HD content is always in 16:9 (the base),the difference between 16:9 and the movie aspect radio is filled with black bars on top and button and/or left and right.

Re: Loss of subtitles
Wow, never seen this layout before. DVDs can be simple or complex. Most of the titles have 0:00:00 runtime, so ignore them. This DVD has one large file which holds all epiosdes. The only relevant title is "11: 7/1 - 44 chapter(s) 2:45:18 44 cell(s)". What did you see in VLC? What did you s...

Re: Loss of subtitles
One seemed to be a default (as shown on the right when I selected it) but I picked the other. Now, why would makemkv have defaulted to an empty file? I noticed that when I played the converted file that subs were being displayed. With MakMKV 1.4.5 the default settings has be changed. There are a lo...
