Very true i imagine it does take a lot of time and energy to put a new standard into place ,i didnt mean to suggest the industry would drop it suddenly.i meant to say that when the standard increases like you have said then we may be looking differently at this.

I was thinking that if more people where to buy 4l movies there would more workarounds on internet for these two movies but as far as i can tell right now the only way to get patriot and fury is buy deuhd which i think cost too much.

I thought about trying to get that program but the lifetime version which is what i would want is over 99 euros which im not sure of the current conversion rate but i imagine it would cost well over a 100 usd for a program which only rips 4k discs.

I seem to think i will keep trying makemkv for now.i believe that the cat and mouse game will force an upgrade t some point to the software,i dont know if more discs will switch over to accs 2.1 a.it's very possible tht the movie studios will try the two or three other versions of accs or a new copy protecton alltogether.

it seems that deuhd is the only thing that would decrypt this 2.1 protection,as far as aware these were the only 2 discs that had this type of protection,unless more discs come out with standard 2.1 i don't think makemkv will support it.i think its just a matter of time before more discs start using...
