Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Looking at that list of movies, some other titles that include similarly sized FELs (>10mb/s) are Cliffhanger, Dredd, Evil Dead 2, Leon the Professional, Skyscraper, and Universal Soldier. If anyone has any of those titles, maybe it's worth a try to see if it's an issue with the large FEL layer? I ...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
That's unfortunately not possible. Part of the reason for this whole endeavor is the lack of support for lossless audio in mp4s.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Mmm, blu ray .com has Mission Impossible listed as Fel but it works on my Oppo after Yusepoe 3 tool and TS muxer, 1917 is listed as FEL also but doesn’t work (IDK). Is there anyway to be sure what is FEL and what isn’t? You can use something like BDInfo to scan for the bitrate of the EL track. MELs...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
DV Profile 4 is single track dual layer DV Profile 7 is dual track dual layer Without any audio track: - C7 play perfectly dvhe.07.06 => mp4 files done with the mp4muxer method - C7 stutter on dvhe.04.06 BL+EL+RPU => ts or m2ts files done with tsmuxer + yusesope fantastic tool I actually have a bit...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Thank you, Trying your new revision and the patched tsMuxer for profile 4 DV is recognized on my C7 and C9 while using a TS file. However, it stutters terribly. Maybe these tvs can't handle dual layers natively? While using the shield, it works (DV detected on the team, Atmos detected on my Denon) ...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Have you also tried using makemkv to just make a HDR10/DTS-MA mkv file to see how that plays? The only disk I have with DTS-MA is planet earth 2 (no DV unfortunately), and the mkvs I've made out of those play just fine in DTS on plex. The mediainfo for the audio tracks looks just like yours also: Au...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
The DTS-MA track could definitely be the issue. One last thing you might want to try is create a TS file with TSMuxer with only the video tracks. If that works, then it's probably the DTS track causing the issue.
edit: oops yusecope beat me to it!

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
As I said, a short clip of the same movie worked. So either the tsmuxer is doing it wrong or exoplayer has a bug I suppose, since I have no idea why a clip of the whole movie would work. This is what I am trying to establish now. edit: forgot to mention but yusesope's tool did not return any errors...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
If it can help you (when you check the client logs), the Shield's hardware decoder is OMX.Nvidia.DOVI.decode I took The Fog for my test case, because it has a pretty significant FEL (11 Mb/s). A short 50s clip made with mp4muxer worked without problems and triggered DV. Full movie muxed with tsMuxe...

Some further good reads on FEL vs MEL: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=15702131&postcount=94 https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p=16546620&postcount=119 Just taking a wild guess here, but if it’s true that the shield is only capable of supporting prof 4 MEL as mentioned by a use...

Re: AACS 2.1 support
Hi guys, I had backed up Fury last year as a full encrypted back up. How can I do a decrypted full back up from that, when I select BDMV index file or discatt.dat file, I can only get a MakeMKV option instead of a full decrypted backup. I do full backups to be playable by network disc player in my ...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
PS: It's just me, or Dolby has blocked access to the official documentation with a nice login. Does that mean we guessed it right? I noticed that too, but I was thinking it might've been some patent troll who took over the site. I did find a mirror here: http://docplayer.net/44473907-Dolb...

@ragico
don't have an account on the other forum, but saw the question about gemini man. It's 04.09 exactly because of the 60fps. 24fps = *.06, 30fps = *.07, 48fps = *.08, and 60fps = *.09.
