Re: ASUS BW-16D1HT 3.02
1. Yes, the error log. If the error is super long, then preferrably the file attached to your post. As always simply saying “it doesn’t work” does not help us help you. Technical details are helpful and more often than not necessary in this support format. (E.g. MakeMKV version being used, discs it’...

Re: The Dark Knight Trilogy - The Dark Knight Rises
The error log output or any additional information presented by MakeMKV when you run into this problem can be of great help in trying to identify the problem. Simply saying "it does not work" does not help us help you.

Re: UHD support
I've moved on recently to attempting to rip my UHD collection (ripped all my standard blu-ray's on this setup, no problems, no failed discs). I downloaded the keys_hashed.txt and moved it into the ~/.MakeMKV folder (which for me in my preferences, is the data directory) - it recognises the disc (la...

Re: UHD drives
So it seems ASUS has stopped putting(or doesn't to begin with) the SVC code on the label(at least not in Enslish). Just picked this up as a backup to my LG(which works fine). How do I go about checking which version I have or is it relevant since I see that supposedly if it was manufactured after 2...

Re: 100% Firmware Downgrade for ASUS BW-16D1HT and LG BH16NS55
Any help for me? I have Asus BW-16D1HT (originally 3.02), and accidentally flashed CLEAN FW to it.. now it does not read ANY media. Is there help for me or can I throw it to recycle bin? :D PS: avoid laughing.. i just stupidly missclicked. :( Well, you obviously bricked your drive. You can try this...

Re: Infinity War
Have you attempted the next obvious step and tried it on a completely different player? (e.g. MPC-BE, MPC-HC, JRiver, etc) If so, what happens then? VLC has a LOT of random problems/bugs with UHD BD playback (full disc or MKV container) and has been consistently recommended NOT to be used for this t...

Re: is the Asus BW-16D1HT 3.02 Firmware UHD friendly?
To clear things up on this. There is a revision of 3.02 released by ASUS for their drives that disallows/fixes the loophole for UHD BD ripping/reading. The "CLEAN" version/revision of 3.02 which contains the much needed loophole can be found in these forums (specifically here: https://www....

Re: Hasked Key silently updated
Regardless, Mike has updated the key file and the link is live again. Whoever wants to keep a “backup” then continue to download the manual file as provided by Mike. Appears he will continue to support this “manual” method until further notice.

The link to the manual downloaded key file is back up with an updated file. It appears Mike will continue to support this file/method until he advises otherwise.

Re: UHD drives
I see that LG BH16NS55 is on the list of "UHD Friendly" drives. Does it need to have SVC code 50 or 55 that is mentioned for some of the other drives? This is in Australia if that makes a difference. Many thanks, With that drive the best way to find out is to try it if you have the CORREC...

Then it might be the disc after all. Search for the term “cleaning” or “clean” in these forums and you should get dozens of recommendations/posts discussing ways to clean UHD disc to rule that problem out.
As a last resort replace the disc.

Re: Deadpool 4K UHD failing to rip despite previous successful rips of other 4K UHD discs
Thank you for the rapid reply st4evr! This is kind of embarrassing, I read where to send the dump, and I had "always create BD+ dumps" enabled, but where do I actually find the dump file so that I can send it? I may have missed it in the text you linked because it's almost 3 am here. Ooop...

Read this: https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=17727&p=64101&hilit=versions#p64101 As the same can apply to your disc. Then read this on how to submit the dumps to Mike and you'll have to wait: https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=16883 And no, this is NO...
