Re: Getting duplicate files in file list
Thanks for the info. Is there any way to be sure which file is the good one when presented with a list or is it just trial and error until the good one is found? You can use Java with MakeMKV and it will highlight the proper track (mostly). You have to download the latest Java Runtime and then poin...

Re: Ripping tv series episodes in the right order
For shows where they tie episodes together into one file, MKVToolNix GUI will allow you to break the file into individual episodes. A prime example is Supernatural. That series is horrible for ripping, but you can fix it up with MKVToolNix GUI. I use VLC to find the breaks for episodes, then enter t...

Re: Ripping tv series episodes in the right order
I have found FileBot to be a godsend. It has really made it so ripping televisions shows, cartoons, etc. is pretty painless. It fixed up the horror of my Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry rips without issue. I also ripped all the Benny Hill Show DVDs and it was able to name everything and put everythin...

Re: DTS HD MA
Thanks for the information!
I got it to work, but putting the profile together is quite confusing. I still don't really understand how to put together exactly what I want, but I DID get DTS HD MA to automatically select.

DTS HD MA
Is there a way to make MakeMKV default to rip the DTS HD MA track? I have to go in and manually select DTS HD MA in order to rip it.

If you install JRE, then point MakeMKV to it, you will see the following on playlist obfuscated discs:

Did you make sure that there are no spaces in your activation code? I have seen people have problems that way.

That's how to do it!
This IS a great application and it deserves support. Although I am not associated with the developer in any way, I am very happy that you bought it.

Re: SUGGESTION: Everyone who uses this software reqularly...
It's good to make this clear. It isn't obvious during normal use of the program that purchase is even an option! I had used the software for over a year before I found somebody referencing that they were a paid user, and even then still had to hunt down how to buy the software... Indeed. I hope tha...
