Hi, this happens at the end of every month, he usually updated it within 24 hours. In the mean time to avoid this issue you could go ahead and purchase a key!

Anyway, open mediainfo and file->open the mkvfile. Then go to view->text then post the output here. What version of VLC were you using to playback? Newer versions should support lossless codecs...

btw if it wasnt present in the original stream, its VLC being weird with color space conversion or something.

Most likely if it is american it is telecined and not interlaced.

MakeMKV takes alternate angles(one or two scenes may be different) and puts them in a separate MKV.

are you trying to bitsream to a reciever? or it just wont playback multichannel pcm? in anycase, its a better question to ask over at shark007 forum if they have one...

Hi did you check to see if this issue is present in the original stream on the disk? If its not present in the original stream, its probably a VLC decoding issue. Try playing back with a *recent* mplayer build.

Besides interlacing it could also be telecine. Please post mediainfo output of the file.

What? No. Then obviously it is just regular 6 Channel (5.1) DTS.
DTS-HD will say "dts-hd" in mediainfo and will also be 8 channel.
Perhaps you are confused... Go read the wikipedia articles for DTS and Dolby Digital...

Its an option when ripping the disk in makemkv, expand the first title and look at the subtitle streams. Can XMBC play the regular bluray PGS subtitles at all? Im not a xbmc user so I do not know... You can check with mediainfo, or try playing with latest VLC or latest (S)Mplayer. Both of these can ...

Hi, MakeMKV does not change the streams at all, it simply dumps it to an mkv container. Please post a screenshot of the problem so we can address the issue.
