Re: The true reason MakeMKV warns us that AnyDVD is enabled?
In case there's any doubt: Original m2ts file: http://i.imgur.com/UDJua.png MakeMKV stops responding (I was able to take a picture from that moment): http://i.imgur.com/twoCr.png A Matroska file from half the size of the m2ts (movie) is created: http://i.imgur.com/nq19X.png And stops there. The decr...

Re: The true reason MakeMKV warns us that AnyDVD is enabled?
So the whole thing is just AnyDVD messing around with the decrypted files? These rips are not exactly new, they are 2 years old. To say the truth, you shouldn't see any issues even with this warning. There were several bugs in AnyDVD that caused MakeMKV (and other software) to fail, but these are f...

Re: The true reason MakeMKV warns us that AnyDVD is enabled?
So the whole thing is just AnyDVD messing around with the decrypted files? These rips are not exactly new, they are 2 years old. What happens if you lose the original disc after something like this? Your only choice is to use TsMuxer? I am mentioning TsMuxer because I was able to demux these content...

The true reason MakeMKV warns us that AnyDVD is enabled?
http://i.imgur.com/iPKUI.png First of all, let me warn you this Blu-ray disc was decrypted using AnyDVD-HD, but AnyDVD is never enabled here when I see this warning. Second, I have tested a few decrypted folders (from other Blu-ray discs and different companies) and this message usually appears not...

MakeMKV can't read external Hard Drive from Western Digital
Can't read this thing properly. My model is a MyBook Essential, 1 TB, using USB. In this case it's a HD decrypted with Truecrypt. MakeMKV says after I open: MakeMKV v1.6.16 win(x86-release) started Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:INVALID COMMAND OPERATION CODE' occurred while issuing SCSI comman...

Re: Impossible to convert to Matroska closed-caption subtitl
I haven't found what I was looking for. This is a workaround and it works nice, but in my case it is going to waste more time since I am dealing with a TV show. But it's better than nothing.

Re: Impossible to convert to Matroska closed-caption subtitl
Well, it seems I found a way to do what I want! http://ccextractor.sourceforge.net/ccextractor_for_windows.html This CCExtractorGUI is reading VOB files and extracting (with more precision than VobSub, and no missing lines) the CC contents! The only problem I had was the fact that it cannot process ...

Re: Impossible to convert to Matroska closed-caption subtitl
MakeMKV's developer explained this is on the to-do-list, sadly: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?p=11281#p11281 http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=798 Anyway, I made another discovery: it's possible to extract the contents from CC subtitles into SRT files. However (and ...

Re: Closed Caption Support
So it's impossible to extract these things to a MATROSKA file? Will I have to keep the original discs?
Are there other alternatives to do this, besides MAKEMKV?

Re: Impossible to convert to Matroska closed-caption subtitl
For the record, I tried with another software - DVDFab - and this was the report while opening the decrypted DVD folder: Info for folder [D:\Video\Stargate SG1 Season 1-3\Stargate SG 1 Season 3\DISCO 1\VIDEO_TS\] ( ) Disc type: DVD-Video Video standard: NTSC CSS (Content Scramble System) protection ...

Impossible to convert to Matroska closed-caption subtitles!
Software used: MAKEMKV The title: STARGATE SG-1, SEASON 3, REGION 1/NTSC Here's my issue: at first I thought this title didn't have any subtitles since MakeMKV reported none as you can see. However, after careful analysis, using Media Player Classic Home Cinema, Arcsoft Total MediaTheatre, MPlayer a...

Re: Can't display subtitles from MKV file using MPC-HC
OK, this might be a MPC bug, but can you please confirm it's also happening with you as well?
I mean, MPC can display all kinds of subtitles but not a few ones... I don't have a clue why.

Re: Request: Change order of audio and subtitle streams
Usually when I rip a Blu-ray/DVD to Matroska using MAKEMKV, I see the list of audio/subtitle streams, for example: English Portuguese Spanish But when I check the file, the first subtitle is the one from the list, as default, and the rest in that order. I wish it was possible to rearrange this order...

Can't display subtitles from MKV file using MPC-HC
Here's the sample: http://www.embedupload.com/?d=2EMHWJFVKA And another one: http://www.embedupload.com/?d=1JVYFTUIMF Now let's see if you can display any subtitle using MPC-HC. I wasn't able to, they were only displayed using these players: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MPlayer http://en.wikipedia.o...
