I was able to get around it (on linux) by: sudo mv /usr/lib/jvm /usr/lib/jvm.save That way MakeMKV couldn't find the Java runtime and I was able to rip the disc (at least it's in progress). I had run into this with the The Vietnam War collection. 2 discs had many main titles. I just opened the disc with VLC and from the main menu of the disc started to play it. Then from VLC you can see what title it's playing. That's the one to open in MakeMKV. (For more info http://makemkv.com/forum2...

Or at least use a URL that does not change every time you access it so I could do something like setup a cron job that updates the file daily.

I ripped this the day it came out. Make sure you updated your keys file.

After 2 failures to get a backup (and 3 disc cleanings) I got a good backup of the UHD version, with decryption turned on. The rip seems to be OK, so the problem is definitely something to do with the BD+ junk. (I did try again after the successful backup, same crash with MakeMKV)

As for the UHD version, I'm trying to do a backup of the disc and see if I can figure it out from there. Hopefully the problem with BD+ will be figured out soon.

When I try to UHD version, MakeMKV just crashes. From my reading up on that issue, I installed Oracle Java 10, but still no good.

So I tried the Bluray disc and the BD+ code seems to be an issue, as I got the typical 100s of titles.

Anyone get around this yet?
