Re: Any drivers for WH16NS40

Closes thing I see is DE_LG_WH16NS40-NS50_1.02.bin The -N550 is not on my drive. Plus, make the window resizable. Windows 11 sucks on scaling and I can't read all that is in the small window. First of all, no one has any idea on what "window" you are talking about resizing.... Second, if ...

Is there an SDF Flasher tool available to work on Mac?

I recently followed a YT video with instructions how to do everything, but the SDF Flasher he recommended doesn't work on Mac.
No, only command line. See Billy's Ultimate Guide.

Re: BDR-X13U-S Dead

Hi all, this is my first post on the forum but I've been going on here for a while! A little over a year ago I got into ripping and bought a BDR-X13U-S. It worked pretty much out of the box with MakeMKV so it's been a great year, however, I noticed a few days ago that MakeMKV could not finish readi...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2023

Hi all new to this. I have a July 2012 WH14NS40 Rom ver 1.00. I also ordered a new WH14NS40 off of amazon as this drive is listed as being too old for the tool. I just wanted to confirm that this drive is not compatible with 4k blurays at all. I did try one bluray in it and it failed to read and mo...

I just retrieved an Asus BC-12D2HT with firmware 3.00, manufactured early 2016. It looks like it's UHD friendly out of the box... are there any good reasons to flash it to a newer firmware such as 3.11_MK, or should I stay with 3.00 ?
Nope. Leave it alone.

Thank you for the input! Yeah I have a couple of SATA to USB adapters that have their own 12v power connection that I got from old 3.5 HDD’s.
Yeah, so long as the power cable plugs into a wall outlet you are good to go.

Re: Is a SATA drive enclosure needed?

If the drive in question is an internal 5.25" type. Then YES. You will need en enclosure for Optical Disk Drives which uses SATA. If you have any old 3.5" External HDD laying around that may be broken or you do not need. You can always crack these open and use the USB to SATA adapter boar...
