Re: Problem - tsMuxer Created Structures
Yea, I had that result with many of mine. Others just error out immediately. Thanks for testing. What happens if you rip the entire movie using the backup feature in MakeMKV first, then use tsMuxer on that? Can you then use MakeMKV?

Re: Problem - tsMuxer Created Structures
Could be. I won't have time to test it until next weekend as I'm gone for the rest of the week. But, if you figure it out post back here and let me know. I just thought it was a bit odd is all. Thanks!

Re: Problem - tsMuxer Created Structures
Fascinating. I guess I'll have to do some experimenting then. Not one of the ones I've processed with tsMuxer worked.

Re: Problem - tsMuxer Created Structures
tsMuxer created BD or AVCHD structures Created from what? Original Blu-ray's. So, if I use something like ClownBD which rips the streams with eac3to and then remasters them into a BD structure using tsMuxer, the result will not work with MakeMKV. I've also tried outputting AVCHD. Neither work. If M...

Problem - tsMuxer Created Structures
Has it been discussed at all that tsMuxer created BD or AVCHD structures don't seem to work with MakeMKV? Is this a bug or is this by design? Thanks!!
EDIT: Sorry, I should be more specific. I either get an immediate error or MakeMKV hangs when it gets to the end.

Re: Feature Req - Disable decryption
I suppose. I've yet to have any problem with AnyDVD enabled, so, I guess that'd work to disable the warning.

Re: Feature Req - Disable decryption
No, the warning is there for a reason. It's never usually a good thing to have 2 decrypters enabled at the same time.dirio49 wrote:Or just disable the warning that comes up.

Re: Feature Req - Disable decryption
I'm not sure that's realistic to have two versions. All I was asking for was a way to disable the functionality in the existing UI. I'm willing to pay full price for the product, but, this feature would be useful to me. I think there's an extremely unlikely chance of having two products, but, I'm ho...

Demux it first with MKVCleaver or eac3to.

Re: Auto Update Feature
A lot of programs that have forums associated with them just create an announcement thread that people can subscribe to. That way when a new version is released, they get an email, go to the thread, and find a link to the new version. Something else to consider.

Re: Feature Req - Disable decryption
Semantics, as you are now saying exactly what I wanted to make clear to you, namely that MakeMKV cannot CREATE (your word) forced subs if they don't already exist as such on the disc or in the file ;>} I disagree with that statement. If you want to get into semantics, it DOES create a forced subtit...

Right, see here. If forced subs exist, it adds a subtitle track with JUST the forced subs in addition to the main subtitle track. That's what I thought it did. So, yea, that rocks.

Re: Feature Req - Disable decryption
What advantage, if any, do you perceive in using two programs rather than one to decrypt and convert a file to .MKV? I see the functions as separate. It's a matter of preference for me to want to use AnyDVD as my decrypter. However, MakeMKV provide excellent functionality for MKV creation, which, t...

Re: Feature Request "Output Filename"
That'd be sweet! You could add a [xx] to the name for each title you save. So, for example, say you're doing title 1 and 6 off the BD and it's "BOLT_NA" or whatever. You could output them:
BOLT_NA[01].mkv
BOLT_NA[06].mkv
etc
That'd be useful.
BOLT_NA[01].mkv
BOLT_NA[06].mkv
etc
That'd be useful.

Re: Feature Req - Disable decryption
None that offer the ease of use that MakeMKV does and certainly (at the moment) none that embed PGS subtitles in an MKV. I find the MakeMKV interface very well done. While I could certainly use freeware to rip the streams and then combine them with mkvmerge (and have done so to compare the process t...
