On LG TVs, for HDR10 it uses maxcll if it's under MDL otherwise it uses MDL. But yeah that sounds like the crappy group WiLDCAT/EPS. if you input a folder and no config file is found, it will ask you for a MDL and L5 which will be used for all the videos in the folder. 7-1 would be a waste of time for a MEL input. You can use 7-2 instead(it works for single input too).

@RESET_9999 Is it okay to split and later merge DV mkv files. Does it cause any issues? I don't know, I never tried but if you don't remove any frames I guess it should be fine? Sometimes I have to trim the start of a video and after, I always verify if my first frame still starts with a scene cut.
