If it's already been ripped from the disk, why would you need MakeMKV? It seems you are already using a tool designed for what you want to do. If they disks are unprotected, you would simply have to have a drive that understands the format (not all BD XL drives can handle all BD XL-formatted disks)...

not looking for support to rip discs, but since full UltraHD disk rips are starting to surface. it would be nice if we could process them with MakeMKV, i currently use mkvtoolnix, but it's a PITA compared to MakeMKV
