Re: Welcome to MakeMKV beta

Wow way to dig up literally the oldest post here. You're welcome! :) It didn't say closed and invited me to post any question about MakeMKV beta. I did try very hard to find a working key. After all, it's December 5th. I wondered if perhaps the "beta" stage had ended. I also looked at the...

Yes I have MakeMKV installed, but do I have to have it open at the same time as the SDF Tool Flasher for the Flasher to work?
No, but does MakeMKV see your drive(s)? No experience w/ Win11 "idiosyncrasies" to draw on...

Re: SDFtool Flasher

Hello, Newbie to ripping 4k, I just purchased an Asus BW-16D1HT drive hoping to flash it with the SDFtool Flasher (v1.3.5) that I already downloaded along with the "All You Need Firmware" pack. I don't have the drive yet as it is being shipped but I downloaded the flasher just to see what...

Re: NEW OPTION: 'UHD Friendly' Firmware Downgrade / Cross-Flash Using Official (Modified) ASUS Flasher for ASUS & LG Dri

Plz post the right instructions and downloads I'm tired of downloading many things and reading and getting nowhere. The latest version of the SDFtool Flasher has a checkbox option to flash the boot loader with the main firmware to the drive. This is useful for the newer BP50NB40 with SVC: NB52. It'...

Re: Oppenheimer (2023)

How long usually it takes? UHD FAQ I submitted a dump, how long does it take? Once submitted, the turnaround can be pretty fast, between 12 to 48 hours. However, it can also sometimes take several days or longer. When you submit a dump, ensure that: - You are using the latest version of MakeMKV. - ...

Hmm... how could I check that out? Since all of the other Special Features had been its own title.
Path of least resistance? Watch 'em (just the extras). Quick scan. It might just be part of one of the other extras (because it's so short?).

Re: Auto enable / disable audio language

I think that is too complicated for a normal user. Why not using checkboxes for this? Developer's choice, I imagine. It is considered an 'Advanced' function. If you described the specific (behavior) languages you prefer, someone might offer some suggestions. Although it can have other implications ...

The Minimum Title Length is 5 seconds
Oh, well. Considering the length, is it possible it's included in one of the other extra titles?

Re: Auto enable / disable audio language

I want to suggest an option, that MakeMKV detect the available audio languages and auto enable / disable the checkboxes by default. For example: I never need a french or spain audio, but I have to manually disable it. Like this? :) Changing default track selection To expose the 'Advanced' tab (if y...

Re: Blu-Ray - Star Trek Insurrection - Missing Title in MakeMKV

I noticed that on the Blu-Ray (when in the player) it shows under Extras - Deleted Scenes, that there is a title called "Ru'afo's Facelift". However, in MakeMKV, I cannot find a title for this. While I am able to locate all the other Deleted Scenes. Any thoughts or suggestions to find thi...

... Error: 'utf-8' codec can't decode byte 0xff in position 11796: invalid start byte ... Just a guess , but if it's the problem, I have no idea how to resolve it in your situation... 'utf-8' is a text-encoding format & the only DVD text component would be closed-captions. Standard DVD subs are...
