The LG drives only burn single layer BDs (25GB) OK. If you burn double layer discs (50GB) you will have read errors at the layer break. You will need a Pioneer drive and slow down burn speed to 4x, better 2x, for results without errors around the layer break.

What does the flashing guide say? And "burning 4K" is going to suffer if you flash the drives - reliably writing Bluray and BDXL disks tends to suffer. Somewhat ironically, the drives people find most reliable for WRITING BDXL are Pioneer drives, which aren't compatible with ripping 4K dis...

I've been recommended either the Hitachi BH16NS40 or BH16NS55 as a flashed drive. Looking at the official site
