Heh, that's funny. Thanks for the explanation guys. Turns out my 63 is Kong: Skull Island.

MakeMKV 1.10.10 AACS 64?
Hi,
I just installed MakeMKV 1.10.10 and the changelog mentions support for AACS64, yet in the right side of MakeMKV under 'Drive information', I see "Highest AACS version: 63". Is this due to a drive limitation, a visual bug, or is the changelog incorrect?

Re: Install Java for Mac OS High Sierra
Thank you Woodstock, post of the year so far! At least for my Macbeth disc here, it must mean it doesn't detect the obfuscation.

Re: Install Java for Mac OS High Sierra
I have tried to rip Macbeth (2015), and it does use obfuscation (AACS v58 according to MakeMKV), and MakeMKV makes no indication of which track is the correct one. My log looks like this: Debug log started at Sat Jan 13 11:05:03 2018 , written by MakeMKV v1.10.9 darwin(x64-release) Using 524544KB fo...

Re: Install Java for Mac OS High Sierra
With debug logging turned on (haven't tested it with it off), when a disk with obfuscation is inserted, MakeMKV reports the version of Java it found and used. If there is no obfuscation on the disk, MakeMKV doesn't even look for Java, as far as I can tell. Thanks, that's nice to know! If you haven'...

Re: Install Java for Mac OS High Sierra
Thanks. Personally I can't get it to work under Sierra though. MakeMKV doesn't do anything. Does MakeMKV output *anything* in your log, when it uses Java for anything?

I believe Apple has already pushed the fix for the current and previous two macOS releases.Woodstock wrote:Until the patch is publicly available, how would anyone test it?

Re: MMKV, Dolby Atmos and Plex
It is your Blu-ray player, not ours. Check your manual to see if it is supported in matroska files.glassetcher wrote: How would I know that?

Re: AppleTV 4K
The Apple TV only support eAC3 7.1 tracks, and not DTS. That is not the cause of your issue? I am unsure if you are having an issue actually doing a pass-through of the track when converting, or just the playback on an Apple TV of the pass-through'd track.

Re: Using Java Runtime Environment to get around obfuscation
Using Java runtime from /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin/java This worked for me, and good grief, I can't believe I didn't do this before.. This is going to save me a LOT of time from now on! The naming of extras is a real bonus! I could never get it to work by b...
