Re: Batch / Command Line Conversion of SUP to SRT
For me the question is, for what are srt subtitles needed (with corrections) if the VOB sub version can be created and used. And in many cases, there is no extra subtitle track for forced flagged subtitles on DVDs, so the forced flagged subtitles must be extracted (if any) from the main track. This ...

Re: Building a computer for bluray ripping
Which highly depends on the used settings/parameters. You can produce from a 5GB file a 10GB file or a 500MB file ..... all is possible
My goal is for Blu-ray rips approx. 5 GB per hour.

Re: Batch / Command Line Conversion of SUP to SRT
The only tool which can extract forced flagged subtitles from an track is "BD sup2sub" (works for Blu-ray and DVD). Extract the subtitle file (from tthe DVD rip) and load it into "BD sup2sub". look at the message which tells you whow many forced flagged subtitles are in the track...

Re: Building a computer for bluray ripping
CPU Power is not a problem for ripping, the I/O activity of the blu-ray drive(s) and harddisc(s) are the bottleneck.

Re: Enter output folder name before initial scan
Hmm, I think you are alone with your "problem"
Yes, some series uses a generic name, but you can override it by appendig an 1 or 2 oder whatever. I've never had a problem with this and I use two drives and can remember what disc is in drive 1 or 2.

Re: Can't Rip Rise of Skywalker Screener
Please use the serach function with "screener". This kind of discs fails in most cases, because they are special (see you message about the file system).

Re: DVD forced subtitles
Yes, MakeMKV does not support forced flagged subtitles into an extra track for DVDs. I don't think that this implemented in MakeMKV, no changes are done for DVDs during the last years. But the better way is to rip the title with MakeMKV and extract the subtitle track with f.e mkvextract (or other to...

There is no option to disable it over the profile settings. You must expand the title and descelect the CC subtitle track.

This changes the language and/or track name. You can also change it later with the "MKVToolNIX GUI" Header Editor.

Re: Help Needed: No EBML Header found
I suppose there is a typo in your last sentence and you wanted to write 'I think n o tool can repair it', is that correct? That would be very sad. Yes, the "No" correct. If the description of the contens which holds the IDs, the number of bocks, the timestamps etc. are corrupt, how should...
