im running MakeMKV in a docker on unRAID, i left the device as /dev/sr0, and just toggled ON privileged and it works again! It seem that passing both /dev/sr? and /dev/sg? associated to your drive also works, without the need of the privileged mode. You don't need both, only the /dev/sg* device. Yo...

Ok, looks like permissions issue. Please post one more output of ls -la /dev/sg* root@8501bf9102c1:/# ls -la /dev/sg* ls: cannot access /dev/sg*: No such file or directory Running this in a docker container, and only pass through /dev/sr*. Lucy UHD Rip Issues
i have my second disc of Lucy, returned the first. US retail disc it's brand new.
ASUS BW-16D1HT

none of them read this disk, i have ripped several discs with this drive
anyone else have issues with this disc/drive combo?

If the disc doesn't even load to the OS, that sounds like a problem with the drive or with the disc. Do you have any other UHDs you can try? Or even a Blu-ray to see if the drive at least reads Blu-rays? Yes, blu-ray and other UHD load fine, thats why i was asking if this perticular disc was a issu...

yea, im not using that file, i created one for the AACS2 keysWoodstock wrote:The FAQ says "download the latest keydb_bd file, and unpack it in the directory", so I would guess the file name is already decided by the source.
I have not needed to do this, so it's outside my knowledge base.
