A minor update to the application has been posted. It fixes a bug where unnamed titles could crash BatchMKV under certain circumstances.

Re: Feedback
Excellent project! The interface and features are the best I've seen so far. Something like this has been long overdue for MakeMKV! Created an account solely for providing you this feedback on how this project can continue to be improvised. Seeing the interface motivated me to attempt to remux 1TB ...

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
You literally saved me from converting 50 ISOs manually! Thank you! Awesome, thanks :) I have a request though; What about an option to have the output MKV be of the same name as of the input ISO (if 1 title)? Example: Star Trek - Nemesis.ISO -> Star Trek - Nemesis.mkv Sure, I'll look into somethin...

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
Can you recommend me some automatic software to then convert the file so I can make it smaller? Because 25 Gigas a file I think is still a little bit much hehehehe I find Handbrake is a good option. I think you will make a hell of a software if you added that possibility into your software, it rips...

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
Hello Man, I have been testing your tool for a little and it seems very good so far. I was wondering since, do you think you can make your app more automatic? I have a collection of more than 600 Blu Rays and what I am trying to do is to set the app so when I put a bluray in my drive it does automa...

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
I can see that people have looked at and downloaded the application. Is it working for you? I'm happy to receive feedback and help with any issues there may be.

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
Does this happen even if you add an entry for each and every codec encountered and specifically set the selection for each codec type within its entry? I actually used to do this, but then I tried removing that (the defaultSelection parameter) and that fixed some cases where no audio was being incl...

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
As far as I can tell MakeMKV.exe uses a named pipe to communicate with MakeMKVCon.exe. I'd been thinking of placing an intercept between the two to try to log whatever goes on there but really can't be bothered and personally have no use for that knowledge anyway. Yeah, I figured MakeMKV had to hav...

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
If there's anything I absollutely loath then it's tools that don't allow you to select where to install them. It's published using a built-in tool in Visual Studio. It has several advantages: easy for me to publish, easy for users to install, and application updates deployed automatically. If you n...

Re: BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
I discovered a few edge cases where the MakeMKV track selection logic does not work as expected. Temporarily resetting the default selection rule (as set under MakemKV preferences / Advanced) when conversion starts appears to fix this issue. So BatchMKV will now backup your current default selection...

Re: Auto Ripping.
I might be able to implement something like this in BatchMKV . BatchMKV can use MakeMKV to rip DVDs and Blu-rays, to support this scenario, I would need to add: Start ripping automatically when a disc is inserted. BatchMKV can be setup to select titles and tracks using various criterias, so since ti...

BatchMKV - batch GUI for MakeMKV
There are already some nice tools for batch conversion of MKV files using the MakeMKV CLI, but I wanted a tool which offered more flexibility with regards to choice of tracks (audio/subtitles) to include, track order and track defaults, and some other features. For that reason, I decided to write my...

Re: Conversion profile for anyone interested.
Yeah, I prefer to keep lossless audio, but if there is no lossless track, I'll manually select the best lossy track available. Ahh, I understand. But why is ,-sel:true included in the trackSettings for lossy tracks and what does it mean (the true part, I realize -sel deselects track(s))? Why is it ...
