Re: Subtitles off centered
Some titles off-set the subtitles to the direction their audio would come from. I.e., if the speaker is left of center, the subtitle will be offset to the left, same with right and center. I have a couple of GKids disks like this. But, select a different subtitle track, and they're all centered. Cou...

He didn't. It is just VERY similar, except for the text from the drive. Dates are way different.

Then an email to support@makemkv.com is in order - Mike can track down missing keys fairly quickly. Of course, he's the only one, since he has control over them...

Re: Is it ever coming out of beta?
If the issue is the word "beta", then you've got a problem. A lot of beta software isn't tagged as such because of issues like you have... "I'm not allowed to use BETA software!" So that means you really can't use quite a lot of things that are constantly IN beta, but aren't TAGG...

Re: Can't open FAQ from main page
Hopefully, the author will get in touch with you, if he decides to fix it. Technically, it should have been fixed (it's been repaired a few times over the past several years), but the instability of the chosen network may be an issue. The problem started when the world started enforcing "thou s...

Is there a reason you ask this, with multiple topics on the exact subject already posted, and even flagged to be displayed at the top of the forum?

Registered users can use it continuously. "Beta" users have to apply a new key every 60 days or so to continue "free use".

Re: Bought New License, Still Won't Let Me Make MKV
MakeMKV's purchased license does not expire, just the beta license. Getting an expiration notice from MakeMKV would mean that it's operating with the beta license, not your purchased key. You should re-apply the purchased key, especially if it doesn't match the key MakeMKV is using.

Do not see "Disk won't open" as an error message for MakeMKV, so... Where are you seeing it? What other errors are you seeing?

Re: Can MakeMKV verify disc files without decrypting?
Original message to which Billycar11 is replying (deleted because it was posted by a spammer): I have a 4K disc which does not have a known volume key (dump submitted) and I am not concerned with ripping the disc but simply want to verify disc integrity without watching the film (It's a replacement ...

Authored ISO is same as a disk, if it's constructed "just like a disk". The video and audio still have sync requirements.

Re: Godzilla Box Set - Criterion
You didn't mention that - having offsets usually means that the disk was partially read, then the drive goes off-line while continuing to try reading a part of the disk. The operating system is not able to read the disk, and says the drive is off-line. Why it thinks that is what needs to be determin...

Re: Godzilla Box Set - Criterion
The problem is that your drive doesn't agree with you on the quality of the disks. It's hitting errors that probably cause it to retry reading, which the computer assumes means the drive went off-line. Are you hearing it retry reading?

Whatever you're trying to use to attach your log and screen shots is not working. The log can typically be included in the message between CODE tags.
