Your theory didn't pan out. Just did a VC1 movie converted with tsMuxer and it's hanging at the end. So, the type of video is a red herring I'm afraid.
P.S. I kept this simple, too. No subs. Just a VC1 and DTS-HD MA track.

Re: Audiostreams & codecs Questions
If your receiver can handle HD audio codecs, then keeping the lossless track (TrueHD or DTS-HD MA) can be beneficial if you have the right playback environment. I have ffdshow and MPC matroska splitter so that I can bitstream the HD audio and display PGS subs if I need them. I use WMP and 7MC as my ...

Re: Problem - tsMuxer Created Structures
Yea, I just don't have time at the very moment. Maybe later today when I get back from seeing Toy Story 3.

Re: Problem - tsMuxer Created Structures
The ones I've tried were all h.264 and I get some of them that hang at the end and some that crash outright in the beginning.

Seems reasonable to me.

Re: Feature Request... Retain TrueHD 'AC3 Core'
Have just been looking through the official TrueHD spec, before you posted. I understand now... so no separate ac3 file, just metadata telling the player/software how to downconvert. Ok, so let me revise my original request... can MakeMKV keep this metadata so a software player can downconvert a tr...

Re: Problem - tsMuxer Created Structures
The duration can be set in the options, so, that should be fine. If you need another sample, let me know. I can easily make one, as well. I rip the streams I want with EAC3To and then reassemble them with tsMuxer. On every single one I've done this, I get the problems described.

It's at the very bottom of each thread, hidden as well as can be. But it's there.MilesAhead wrote:
Speaking of which, I don't see a "subscribe to thread" button or I'd subscribe to the release announcement thread as you suggested.

Re: Problem - tsMuxer Created Structures
Mike, this isn't a "when" question...simply an "if" question. Is this issue being looked into at all? I'm simply curious of the status. Thanks!!

Re: Feature Request... Retain TrueHD 'AC3 Core'
Where's SamuriHL, he'll back me up on this one!! On vacation, but, I get now what they're saying. How it's stored inside the m2ts container is different than what we were thinking when we discussed this. With DTS-HD MA, there's literally an "extension" to the DTS core that allows for a hi...

Re: Problem - tsMuxer Created Structures
I'm on Windows 7 64 bit and am using the same version of tsMuxer. But, I have ISO's that were created with previous versions of tsMuxer, as well, and those don't work either. (Maybe those are the ones that error out immediately. I can't say for sure but that would make sense. I honestly don't know w...

Re: Feature Req - Disable decryption
Ok, thanks Mike! I wasn't sure if there was a genuine conflict with running them both at the same time. If MakeMKV knows that it's an unprotected structure then that's fine.

Re: Problem - tsMuxer Created Structures
Glad to know it's not just me then. Thanks for everyone who's posted here. Mike, it's happening to me on *EVERY* tsMuxer produced BD structure. Even AVCHD structures. It either errors out immediately or it hangs at the end. It should be quite easy to repro with just about any disc.

Re: Problem - tsMuxer Created Structures
Thanks for the info. That rather sucks. Anyone try the (very old at this point) tsRemux or another way to make an ISO?

Well, it would be a nice feature but if he's not interested he's not interested. Such is life.
