Re: Attention. Ver 2.1 protection out
Same with The Patriot. Both are Sony titles... + 1, unable to rip Fury uhd and the patriot uhd George Everyone needs to relax. It's been a few days. There are two discs. There will be more. It took time to get AACS 2.0 worked-around and it may take some time here. Who knows - may be impossible. But...

Re: Unable to Use keys_hashed.txt File. What Am I Doing Wron
I downloaded the keys_hashed.txt file and placed it in my .MakeMKV directory where my KeyDB.cfg is (and has been working). If I try to rip a disc with the KeyDB.cfg file in the dir, it works fine. If I take that file out and place the keys_hashed.txt in that directory, I can't rip any discs includi...

Re: 1080p vs 2160P
Yes, your HDR backups will look like washed out crap when your TV doesn't recognize that HDR content is being presented to it. I would recommend getting an Nvidia Shield with the Kodi or SPMC apps to properly play back your 4k HDR content. Recommended settings for the Shield and SPMC/Kodi are: http...

rest of what stuff specifically?starmax wrote:That is awesome!
So comparing this to the KEYDB file, I see this layout:
<SHA1 Key> = <Title> | V | <some hash> ; AACS 2.0 MKB v<57,60 or 61>
Do you know what the rest of this stuff means? just curious...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware
How does one match the UPC? I haven't seen any information about that - I haven't seen UPCs posted. I suppose it's still possible that discs with different keys are sold under the same UPC. not only possible but absolutely done. we are keeping track here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ......

Re: UHD support
I use Jriver, not Plex. You are better off using anything that uses Lav + madVr for the best 4K + HDR playback. This combo gives me: 3D MVC, 4K+HDR, regular old BluRay, plus an audio decoder that is excellent Plex is what I still use for some streaming as it's client is quite good; however JRiver + ...

Re: UHD support
I can confirm that using the volume keys available at https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php? ... ost1826296, MakeMKV is able to directly decrypt the data on UHD discs, without the assistance of any other software. I'm using the LG WH16NS40 SVC 50 drive. but this only works with "UHD Friendly&...

Re: AACS 2.0 is cracked?
new version of DEUHD. significantly faster. more titles supported, but as always - be wary as title support isn't guaranteed. seems encryption(?) varies depending on distributor and/or other factors.

Re: AACS 2.0 is cracked?
TheShoe...am I understanding that you're using mkvtoolsnix for actually ripping an UHD disc? If so, how, may I ask? no. i rip to folder using DeUHD. once decrypted, I can load all the playlists into mkvtoolsnix (it'll actually load them for you, and select the main title. it will let you select all...

Re: AACS 2.0 is cracked?
been scraping by with mkvtoolsnix for my 4K UHD rips. it works, but prefer MakeMKV DeUHD is cool - though many supported titles "don't work" because there are many regional releases of the same title and clearly different encryption is applied. so far I've ripped 12 of 15 supported discs t...

Re: NewBie Ripper
I pretty much do the same thing:
Rip to MKV, retaining the HD audio tracks, dumping all but english subs, and retaining 3D if applicable.
Use handbrake to re-encode for portable devices.
Note that VLC on iOS will play MKV files.

Re: Constant need for new keys is so annoying. Better optio
Why does this app constantly require that I enter new keys? Every couple of weeks. It's ridiculous. I've never seen something so non-user friendly. I really wish there was an alternative app that I could use. Is anyone aware of any good alternatives that aren't so blatantly obnoxious? Thanks. BUY IT

Re: Question about Ripping a DVD Audio
I have a DVD Audio with MLP (Meridian Lossless Packing) audio format. When I try to rip it to my hard drive, I just get the Dolby Digital not the 24bit/96Khz (MLP). Is there any way to rip the DVD with MLP audio format? Thanks. sure. if it is just an MLP DVD-A disc then use DVDAE (DVD Audio Extract...

Re: Just installed newest version, still says it's too old
I love these jerky responses lol. I think a price tag of $50 bucks is a tad high. make it $19.95 you have got to be kidding me. I paid a long time ago. I'd pay $100 for this and more given that it has literally allowed me to build an awesome online collection of movies etc and with so few issues it...
