All i do is play the movie from the disk, select each english sub track one by one, watch a few seconds if they are speaking english and subs appear, that one is not it, if they all appear, then load the disk in makemkv and select forced only, if there is one it will pull it out..... On another note...

are we any closer to being able to rip this track?

i noticed that none of my MKV's with LPCM tracks play audio on my mac or on my mede8er. after some digging aroung i found that the codec id in the MKV was "A_MS/ACM" i changed it to "A_PCM/INT/LIT" and now i have audio. is this something that mike can fix? info was taken from her...

anyone know the correct playlist of the US retail disc?

You still haven't posted the results: 1. if you make an MKV file from 3D mkv, and then make 2D MKV form original media, do you get the same files or not? i copied jack the giant slayer in 3d, but i forgot to copy it in 2d as well….so i loaded the 3d mkv into make mkv, unselected the mvc stream, and copied…the result was a non playable mkv……is this normal? EDIT: it plays on the pc, but it will not play on the duneHD base 3d Did you do it with latest ...

Ummm...I am no expert with MakeMKV but I know that MakeMKV will only create a single mkv with only 1 single video stream plus any number of audio streams originally selec...
