Re: How do I pass-through uncompressed PCM
I thought the default was to copy as is for LPCM and Dolby TrueHD. I currently convert LPCM to FLAC, but copy TrueHD as is. Check in the Advanced MKV Usage section of the forum. or here: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4776 or here: http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?...

Re: Request - Chapters from text or xml
This is something I'd like to see also. As a matter of fact, I was going to request this feature myself, I just hadn't gotten around to it. :) With the added feature to name chapters in MakeMKV (which is greatly appreciated BTW), it's possible to rename chapters using chapter names from ChapterDB.or...

Re: Feature request regarding file names
With TV episodes usually not in order of the ripped MKV's, wouldn't you need to rename them anyway after ripping and matching the ripped MKV to the correct episode?

Re: Newbie - Facing Unsorted parts after ripping
What you describe sounds like you're ripping Disney titles, where they will put dozens of "fake" tracks on the disk, made up of parts of the movie, out of order. Disney isn't the only one to do it, but they do it a lot. I've never seen any Disney titles with "fake" tracks or Scr...

You won't be able to see Blu-ray menu's in XBMC anyway, AFAIK.

Re: Audio Question from a Newbe
Absolutly, I open the title and check the HD file and then un-check the core file. If I open the finished mkv file with tsmuxer it says the audio is HD, but my Oppo players ( I have both the BDP-93 and 105) only plays the DTS 5.1 version. I tried a 7.1 DTSHD-MA movie and it down grades to DTS 5.1. ...

Re: Audio Question from a Newbe
Are you sure you're not selecting just the core and not the HD audio, that's the default of MakeMKV.

Change the default profile or create a new profile in your data directory.Chetwood wrote:Right, but how do I achieve this?
You may also have to enable expert mode on the General tab in preferences.
I just started using this myself.

Re: aspect ratio tags possible?
You can have XBMC display the correct aspect ratio by adding the info to a local .nfo file for the movie with stream details. e.g.: <fileinfo> <streamdetails> <audio> <channels>6</channels> <codec>dtshd_ma</codec> <language>eng</language> <longlanguage>English</longlanguage> </audio> <subtitle> <lan...

Re: Batman Begins file size
Well, I can tell you that my HD-DVD rip of Batman Begins with Dolby TrueHD and English subs is 15.0 GB, although I didn't use MakeMKV to rip it.

Re: Subtitles
Default flag on the subtitle track was probably set to Yes, since that appears to be the default when I rip.Chetwood wrote:Even when both default and forced flag are set to no in the mkv?

Re: Subtitles
What do you mean "turned on by default"? Are you referring to the checkboxes selected in MakeMKV or that your player defaults to display subtitles?
I know with XBMC, I have to turn off subtitles and then set that as the default setting. Otherwise, they alway display.
