Re: Dolby Digital Plus Problem
Well at least a 1:1 transfer should be possible. Then it should be possible to decode such a track with an AV-Receiver which is DD+ capable and FFmpeg can at least decode the DD "Core"

Re: Dolby Digital Plus Problem
yeah but also PowerDVD doesnt like what MakeMKV is producing... Dolby Digital Plus on Bluray contains a Dolby Digital 5.1 Stream + 4ch encoded in Dolby Digital Plus. A non DD+ capable device uses the Dolby Digital Stream A DD+ capable device uses the Dolby Digital 5.1 Stream, but replaces the 2 rear...

Re: Dolby Digital Plus Problem
There is no way to deselect the videostream in makemkv. But i can create a MKV(MKA) with mkvtoolnix or just the Audiostream itself.

But why does makemkv show the Coretrack as 5.1. And the core+hd as 4.0 only?

Re: Feature Request: Tag Editor
yes you cant use the header editor for that.
http://matroska.org/technical/specs/tag ... video.html
you can just create a xml file and load that into mkvtoolnix before you mux the mkv.

Re: Feature Request: Tag Editor
Chetwood doesnt know what he is talking about. You cannot change/edit that kind of metadata with the header editor..
As far as i know there is no tool at all to do this. You can just give mkvtoolnix a xml file and then i will write these tags into your mkv file. But that requieres a complete remux..

Dolby Digital Plus Problem
Screenshot
I try to rip a Bluray but DDplus Audio seems to be 4.0 and the core track is 5.1? That sounds weird.
VLC and Kodi will not play that track after making a mkv file, there is no audio, just video.
Am I doing something wrong?

Re: John Wick True Audio problem
Well TrueHD Atmos makes trouble on some Players for example VLC. Try Kodi/XBMC or use an AVR with passthrough the Audiotrack from you player.

Re: [Bug] MakeMKV can't open MKV File
I also tested 2 other files. The problem always occurs after doing a remux with mkvmerge 7.8.0 and VC1 Videostreams.
Bluray => MakeMKV 1.8.4 => MKV => mkvmerge 7.8.0 => MKV => MakeMKV 1.9.2 fails to open.
