My tool is obsolete. it made a profile 7 dv mp4 with lossy ac3 audio from a .m2ts file to play on x700 etc. but now you can just throw that m2ts straight into tsmuxer and make a dv .ts file with lossless audio + atmos.

I'm waiting for shields to come back in stock to snag one, wondering if the issue is something that a custom TV preset would Band-Aid for now? maybe lower the Red, Green, and Color sliders a bit?

yep. for atmos with ac3 (raw bluray):

Profile 6 does not exist and does not work anywhere!
Holy, take a breath there bud. Profile 6 works just fine on the Nvidia Shield Pro 2019.

I tried ts remuxing it but same thing. The file refuses to play. Could you show me the steps how you do it? I think it's your tv, bud. I 'tested' it (I have Disney+) on the firestick 4k and it plays in mx player and it looks great, but stutters due to mx player's lack of frame rate switching :? Wha...

Extract Atmos metadata from TrueHD frame, decode TrueHD frame to LPCM, encode LPCM to eac3, add Atmos metadata to eac3 frame.
