My UHD 4K BD of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) has acted this way for me since I bought it. It will never advance past about 20% or so. It just hangs. You have to cancel the rip to do anything.

CDs and DVDs use a different laser than blu-rays and UHDs. If the drive won't read either kind of disc, that seems like a bad sign. Pioneer drives are held in high regard these days, but unfortunately to get one that is LibreDrive compatible, you need to get one from a seller in your region that can...
