Re: Toy Story 3 Blu Ray
Here we go: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Toy-Story ... 36/#Review Surprisingly, Toy Story 3's picture-in-picture commentary is relegated to its own disc. Not that I'm complaining. Director Lee Unkrich and producer Darla K. Anderson are still given ample opportunity to dissect each scene as the feat...

Re: Toy Story 3 Blu Ray
My copy of Toy Story 3 only has one Dolby Digital track with the two MA tracks, having two is kind of odd... The number of chapters are right. But... I notice the title of the disc says "Toy Story 3 (disc 2)" There was a bonus disc included with the set that originally came with Toy Story ...

Re: Bad advice - now I have a mess!
Crap, the line should have read: ren "%~f1" "%dirname%-%cx%.mkv" So that all the files are numbered with two digits. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1453 ... le-results FOR returns items in filesystem order. For FAT this order is not specified, but approximates to creation ord...

Re: Default to HD master?
Really, you're just going to leave us hanging? I just looked at the disc with CloneBD, it shows two separate orderings and they're both wrong. There's a two parter on the disc and in neither of its orders does part 2 come directly after part 1. Well technically there's a third order where part 2 doe...

Re: Need Help with XMen First Class Forced subtitles
If the source is bluray, it should NOT be interlaced, but there are exceptions. DVD is, by definition, interlaced. VLC has multiple deinterlace options, which work...... OK for most things. The source is from a blu-ray and plays fine off of the disc. Once imported, it's interlaced....bad. Deinterla...

Re: Default to HD master?
Double GRRRR. The FIRST disc is best sorted by segment number. I've loaded the disc into my Blu Ray player and it doesn't separate the titles in a way that would make the mpls ordering different, so there's no reason it should be different to the rest... most of the rest at least. Almost all the oth...

Re: Default to HD master?
Arrrgh crap. When I was ripping BSG, I was using the original version of my script that renamed the files based on the segment number each title came from. I've since switched to renaming them based on mpls numbers. I thought including the deleted duplicates in the sorting process would fix most of ...

Re: Make MKV by chapter
It does for DVD, just not for Blu Ray. Blu Ray is more complicated, MakeMKV would need to do more than just split titles during a re-author. To account for all kinds of discs it would need to append them too, and given the wide variety of codecs and track selections that can be used on any particula...

Re: Default to HD master?
You need to edit the default selection. http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4386 Preferences->General->Expert Mode || Advanced->default selection rule I Just ripped the complete BSG collection along with a bunch of other shows. If you can find the Powershell ISE on your PC, try t...

Re: Fun with Powershell And TV on Blu Ray
At the moment I'm thinking if I treat the episodes not in the playlist as specials rather than as episodes and sub-number them into positions between the play-listed episodes, that may work. At least it will get them in the right order. This is the second part of my process @if "%EMode%"==...

Re: Folder full of MKV files. Now what?
There's a thing called playlist obfuscation where Blu Ray disc authors deliberately put masses of jumbled playlists on a disc just to make our lives more difficult. If you come across one of those you'll know it. Other than that, there are sometimes different "cuts" of a movie for several ...

Re: Bad advice - now I have a mess!
It is batch. It uses nothing but internal CMD commands. All it does is rename the MKV files in a folder to the same name as the containing folder. MakeMKV doesn't usually split movies into separate files, I've never heard of it happening and the chances of you having enough occurrences to be complai...
