Re: BD-RE BU40N Revision: 1.04

Put "enc" option (without quotes) after rawflash because if your unit comes with 1.04 it will accept only fw in encrypted format.

Re: Attemping to flash LG BP55EB40 on macOS

sdf_0000006d.bin is an obsolete sdf version. You have to use the latest one.

Re: Attemping to flash LG BP55EB40 on macOS

You have to use the command -f to specify the SDF.bin file path.

Re: Libredrive version v6

I've successfully ripped The Equalizer UHD (97 GB size disc) with both MakeMKV and IMGBurn and I have been
very impressed by the ripping speed which has reached 12x !!! (over 50 MB/s).

No issues at all using 3 different LG burners crossflashed to WH16NS60 1.02 MK firmware. :D

Re: AACS 2.1 support

@all Any purchased 4K UHD disc is scanned by MakeMKV and it doesn't matter if that disc is already supported or not (i.e. if the hashed key for decryption already exists or not). Thus, the method I've always used about the "protected iso" option (from AnyDVD HD as main tool to do that) is ...

Re: AACS 2.1 support

In order to avoid physical scratches I always made a protected ISO first, then I mount it via Windows 10 Pro mount option (right click on ISO image files),
I open it with MakeMKV and it always decrypt it without any issues at all.

Re: AACS 2.1 support

With AnyDVD HD the resulting ISO is not working with MakeMKV, but this happens only on my Fury UHD disc (AACS2.1).

Re: AACS 2.1 support

I've created a protected ISO with another software and now MakeMKV decrypt it with no hash errors at all.

Thus, it's possible to decrypt also a protected ISO of an AACS 2.1 UHD disk. :D

Re: AACS 2.1 support

Creating a protected ISO will not work as FMTS/M2TS will fail hash check.

No issues at all if the decryption is made from the physical disk.

Re: AACS 2.1 support

@Mike

Fury UHD ripped flawlessly and megui as well as eac3to can extract streams without any issues at all.

This afternoon I'll try to create a protected ISO and see if it reports errors on FMTS/M2TS decryption process.
