Email the author at support@makemkv.com and he can take care of that. He's the only one, in fact.

Re: Weird errors trying to rip custom UHD
Authored ISO is same as a disk, if it's constructed "just like a disk". The video and audio still have sync requirements.

Re: Godzilla Box Set - Criterion
You didn't mention that - having offsets usually means that the disk was partially read, then the drive goes off-line while continuing to try reading a part of the disk. The operating system is not able to read the disk, and says the drive is off-line. Why it thinks that is what needs to be determin...

Re: Godzilla Box Set - Criterion
The problem is that your drive doesn't agree with you on the quality of the disks. It's hitting errors that probably cause it to retry reading, which the computer assumes means the drive went off-line. Are you hearing it retry reading?

Whatever you're trying to use to attach your log and screen shots is not working. The log can typically be included in the message between CODE tags.

Re: Weird errors trying to rip custom UHD
The "AV Sync" messages are adjustments to various tracks to coordinate the video and audio together. These can be common, and there are quite a number of audio tracks on this disk. "Corrupt or invalid" messages are for a single area of the disk, which had to be retried multiple t...

1 titles saved The title is saved, so the errors were worked around. The "forced subtitle" tracks are always created for each track (one containing "all subtitles", one containing "forced only" subtitles), but are deleted if empty. Sure are a lot of tracks in that disk...

Re: snap and saving to another folder
That's possibly because of the snap; I cannot say, but I have heard that they limit abilities to protect users from malicious files. It MAY be that "create a directory on a remote drive" is one of those protections.
If you've created the directory, does it allow you to write to it?

Re: Beta Key 🔑 Doesn’t Work forced to buy
The date is only checked when MakeMKV starts. It can be turned back right after that. If you leave MakeMKV running while idle (depends on how paranoid we are), it doesn't check the date again.

Sometimes, names that contain spaces don't QUITE work out. One test is to copy the whole file name, and try creating it manually. Can it be "opened"?
Spaces are a big "gotcha". Also, file names that don't match up with what is actually there can be a problem.

Re: Changing file names help
The template uses the file name AS KNOWN AT THE TIME. A lot of disks do not have a file name built in (mostly DVDs, but some BDs are like this), so the template doesn't know what to do. Changing the name on the FIRST entry on the disk can give it a name to use. That first entry is the disk name, not...

Re: AV sync issue in stream Forced subtitles track turned out to be empty and was removed from output file
For every subtitle track on a BD, MakeMKV will try to make two of them - "everything", and "just those subtitles marked as forced". Usually, disks do not have mixed subtitle types; they have tracks with "everything", and separate tracks of "just the signs and print...

Re: Is is possible to extract certain audio tracks from bluray?
You can use mkvtoolnix to break the particular audio track out from the whole MKV file, but it will be the "whole" audio track in most cases. Getting individual sounds out would depend on your other tools.

Using mkvtoolnix, there should be no decompression/recompression though.
