Re: Please Help A Noob

1. The tracks that MakeMKV shows are the tracks that have been authored onto the disc. Some are obvious, like the large one(s) that have contain the movie or TV show. Others are the disc's extras, such as trailers, interviews, etc., as well as housekeeping stuff like the copyright warnings and main ...

Re: Please Help A Noob

Hi, and welcome to MakeMKV. 1. The "decrypt video" choice is for backing up the entire contents of a BD or DVD disc exactly as they are laid out on the disc using folder structures, etc., and either having the backup copy include the encryption or not (helpful for exactly duplicating the c...

Re: Downton Abbey Season 6 (Original UK Editon) disc 2 fail

MakeMKV is failing to read an area of the disc that allows it to apply the correct key information. See here for more info: https://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopi ... 429#p43178

If cleaning this disc doesn't help, replace the disc.

Re: Mixed Results Ripping UHD Discs Using Leaked Keys

I'm curious, too; no offense intended but why spend so much effort to compress a UHD disc, wouldnt it be easier to just back up the Blu-Ray copy? Cant imagine there'd be a qualitative improvement given screen size and compression. Maybe I'm missing something....

Re: Adding Keys?

If you read a couple messages above, Mike, you know, the guy who's created this wonderful piece of software and is the forum admin, has requested that keys NOT be posted at this time (http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=16835&start=30#p58636). Please contain your zeal and resp...

Re: Adding Keys?

So from now on MakeMKV will be able to crack AACS 2.0? I would not make that assumption. It's one thing to apply a key acquired elsewhere within the MakeMKV framework, another thing to de-encrypt on the fly as MakeMKV does with standard HD Blu-Rays. Per Mike, "Everything except the decryption ...

Re: Certain BBC discs having audio issues

MakeMKV does not transcode or alter the original content of a disc in any way (with the exception of removing tracks and containing audio into say a flac file). For that, you'll need another tool like Handbrake. Are you experiencing this when playing the disc itself ("playing my blu rays on my ...

Re: Peanuts Holiday Collection Anniversary Editions

Reduce the minimum title length to 1000 seconds; you currently have it set to 3000, or 50 minutes, which is much more than the 25 minutes or so for each episode.

Re: Evaluation period has expired... No way of using the pro

The beta key expires end of November so you may need to wait for the new one, which history shows can take a day up to a couple weeks to be posted. You can also purchase a license and never run into this issue again (as well as keep the development of the software going).

Re: Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk (UK) failing to Rip

Also, what are you using to de-encrypt? Your title is not listed on DeUHD's site so it would be helpful to know what tool. its Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk and it is on the DEUHD Website, they supported it on Friday 24/11 Thank you for clarifying, should have searched for it since it wasn't on t...
