Re: Cant Rip certain discs
Even after flashing the Mk 3.10 same issues. But I did find out the issue i was having with DVDs taking 24 hours to rip. You have to unselect closed captioning. I dont wana say that my other issues are from the MakeMkV program, but im tempted to try other programs.

Re: Cant Rip certain discs
That sounds like a bunch of BS to me. I've NEVER heard of that and I've been around a while. If it were me, I'd flash it to at least 3.02. I just looked on Newegg the one that said that is gone now but I have seen a seller that said they lock the firmware so it can't be updated, I didn't believe it...

Re: Cant Rip certain discs
Sorry and I meant firmware. And yes the company that I bought the drive from takes them out of the package, flashes the 3.0 and then locks the firmware so that it doesn't accidentally get updated.

Re: BluRay ripping fails since installing v1.14.3
There were 2 versions of "3.02" released by ASUS, much to everyone's annoyance. The first one was indeed still UHD friendly. A few weeks later they re-released it and that version was not. In any case, at this point in time there's literally no reason not to use the DE firmware collection...

Re: Cant Rip certain DVD and 4k Bluray
I always unselect all tracks, then only select the one track that is the largest file size and has for example all "14" chapters. I am now having an issue reading a 4k Bluray "RED 2". This movie was watched one time and put back in the case. I get this error message. Error 'Scsi ...

I'm having an issue with 3 different DVD movies. They Rip at a speed of .8x (like 1200 Kb/s) which would take me more than 24 hours to rip. I have this issue with 3 different DVD movies. Re: Best settings for Direct Play on Plex?
Yes thank you. That's what I was wondering is what do I do with handbrake? Anyone have a great setting for 1080p? I have read that handbrake doesnt yet work with 4k 10bit HDR. So if H.264 is the best I'll do that. But I would really like to be able to direct play most of this stuff if possible. I am...
