I have a disk that insists on 1 or 2 hash check failures. Been cleaning the hell out of it, I assume it’s the gas residue disks seem to have these days. I don’t see any scratches or imperfections at all. Anyone have cleaning tricks or protocol for new yet stubborn disks?

Ok bit confused. I copied it. Removed the aacs file. Now how do i ise mkv on the file?? Or do i need to burn it to bluray first? Id like to decrypt it with menus intact.

Wickerman 4k from the 5 disk still says there isn’t a volume key…is this just taking longer or is my program bugging?

Just gets stuck and stalls at this point…doesn’t crash or fail…just continues indefinitely like all is well but not…. Martial law the original backsup fine…no issues Also it straggly ejected the disk once before ripping however its not repeated. No other disk has done this. ————————————— MakeMKV v1....

I’m pretty sure make mkv doesn’t do this so this might be off topic however is there a way to change or remove region coding to region 1 or region free .iso/backup ? With or without software even outside mkv?

Is there a new encryption? I have 3 new 4k disks all fail to copy and in the line it says failed to decrypt very quickly…the three are the 1) razorback 4k replacement disk from umbrella,2) I still know what u did last summer 4k and 3) wicker man disk 1 4k. Seems odd me after another to have the same...

Now that it seems bd live is dead (I know I’m late to that party) does anyone know of an archive where people were able to download the info for movies like terminator etc and link it to their mkv backup?

Or any interesting work arounds?

Ironic I was just reporting back, one drive died on me so I think it was messing with the others. I’ve been rotating around 5 different ones and till now its inconsistency made it hard to isolate. So problem fixed…

I got a pioneer recorder and it is ripping the disks the lg and asus wouldn’t including avatar

I got it working since but it’s had weird stalls for the last month takes like a half an hour to get the program to mount. It tried to reset my ver and over or takes forever in the first screen loading.

Since the last update it takes like 15 min for two disks to load up. It used to take like 30 sec or less each instance. Anything after 3 fails now. I even cleared out 40% of my drive thinking it was too full. Repaired, etc….tried everything.

Anyone else having loading delays since the latest update.
