Re: Forced subtitles as part of main subs. track - advice requested
I've managed to extract just the forced subs using BDSup2Sub but I'm not sure if adding my own sub track to the MKV is the right way to do this, or am I missing something obvious like a flag I need to set to make if just used the "forced" subs from the existing track (and ignore the other...

Re: Error Messages
Yes, other discs are fine. This one appears to be heavily protected and issued in the UK. I don't think it's the protection (the identify failed), something is different or wrong with the UDF (Universal Disk Format). Your messages indicates this: udf: UDF mount: error reading volume space udf: UDF ...

Re: Judy Playlist
You need only ONE (!) title, the correct one. So it's important to identify the title over the correct playlist. See above in this thread, there is one Playlist listed. Maybe it matches also your Blu-ray version.

Re: Error Messages
The only thing which is a little bit strange is this message "WinCdArb=v1.0.0_tiny win(x64-release)". Never seen this before. But it is related to MakeMKV: http://www.makemkv.com/wincdarb/ MakeMKV tries to identfy the disc content, but fails. Only Mike knows the meaning of the debug codes ...

Re: Error Messages
What happens if you use THIS drive with MakeMKV?
If the problem persists, please provide a complete Debug log (see my signature how this can be enabled). Maybe that there are some other errors before the already psoted error occures.

Also check if there is enough freespace on the HDD. And tell us how the HDD is formated (NTFS, FATxxx ....)

Re: Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:INVALID FIELD IN CDB'
i pulled a drive from an old blu-ray player
Because you have and SCSI Interface protokoll problem, I think the drive from an old Blu-ray payer does not understand the commands.Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:INVALID FIELD IN CDB' occurred while issuing SCSI command

Re: title order / output filename / segment map
Hi Mike, I know, this works except the source number is not unique if the MPLS and M2TS IDs are the same. It would be nice to have an f.e {ST} (Source Type) identifier which can be set to MPLS, M2TS, VOB. Or the {SN} identifier includes already this type information to avoid the problem. With the {S...

Re: Home Alone (Italian BD+) does not decode
The downloaded svq files (with different naming, f.e svq_0000023a.bin) are in "<user>/.makemkv/_private_data.tar" with all other things. My "_private_data.tar" is from 24.03.2020 with some svq files which are download last month. I think the "dsall.svq" file is obsolet,...

Re: title order / output filename / segment map
MakeMKV doesn't sort the file names... There is also the issue that a lot of m2ts and mpls file names would be interspersed if you sort strictly by file name. The "title" number assignment to an mpls or m2ts is not optimal ans should be changed to the mpls and m2ts naming. If the sorting ...

Work's very well on all of my Blu-rays. The mpls <> episode number sequence is always ascending, so if yow know the series episodes numbers on a specific disc you can easy sort it.

Re: Warner Brothers Multiple Movie Playlists
So I don't understand what all the Japanese tracks are for or why they're in a different title. You must always look at the MPLS (Playlist) in the right windows of MakeMKV. There are also the stream elements list (each element is a xxxxx.m2ts file in the stream folder) in this area. The MPLS is onl...

Re: Optical drive not found
Haven't found much on that topic that relates to drive access. All the settings lead to Virus and ransomware protection that have to do with files and folders. Did you read this thread: https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14702&p=69524&hilit=ransomware#p69524 That makes me...

Re: Warner Brothers Multiple Movie Playlists
If you "rip" the data to an mkv file, there is no menu. So it is important that you "rip" the correct title with the wanted audio and subtitles.
