Most likely the chipset of that enclosure doesn't support flashing. It defaults to Windows 11 and only shows the egreen utility. You have to switch to Windows 10. Then the flasher appears for download. It's what I already wrote above.

Is there a hope for Pioneer BDR-XS08MB-S for Blu Ray 4k ripping? No matter 1.00 or 1.01 firmware......this unit is born already locked for libedrive but MakeMKV still tells Libredrive is not yet enabled! I hope that future versions of MakeMKV that should implement Libredrive V2 will unlock BDR-XS08...

Yes, these 43888 drives ARE power hungry. Some ports might not provide enough power. If they do - consider yourself lucky.
