I think that consumer BluRay players are more forgiving of errors - it might play half way through just fine then fail to play the second half of the disk for instance. Is it possible for makemkv to grab whatever works on the disk and ignore the rest?
Seems like a small error on the media can cause the entire thing to be useless, just wondering if that can be improved.
