Thanks for the link and help. It is appreciated. I am still having an issue though. I downloaded the tools and FW and set up wine to run the .exe (ASUS_ODD) as I am running Linux. I get this error though when installing the FW:

DeviceIoControl Error: Error Code 5
I can't issue command through SPTI
Update Failure #4

I'm guessing I need to do this in a Winodws OS and not through Wine, or is there another reason for this error?

Thanks again.

Thanks. Can I find the bootable windows Marty made in the forum somewhere? I haven't been able to find it, though I swear I saw something about it earlier...

I found this video, is this the one you are referring to?

Just wanted to thank everyone for the helpful links and advice. Was never able to get the flasher to work through wine on Linux, if anyone ever has let me know what you did.

Ended up buying an adapter and using my windows laptop...if I wasn’t so stubborn about doing it in Linux it would have been a much faster process.

Thanks again!

I'm in the same boat. I can't get Linux to flash the Drive either. When I run the exe it sees the drive, but it just stays at 0% flashing.
I tested and it will yell at me that I have a disc in the drive so I don't know why it doesn't start.
