Well, I have submitted some dumps for less popular UBDs (Suspiria and Vieux Fusil) as well as the Spanish UBD of La La Land a week ago but still nothing.

Hi,

I have problems downloading the file with the keys. The server is very slow and the opening of the tiny uploads page does not work.
Is it possible to place the file somewhere else on a faster server?

Best,
Chris

As a temporary solution, note that if you are patient, the Tiny Uploads page will load. Just open the page and then go do something else for a few minutes.

I submitted six I think, and they were all added very quickly, although I have two that I'm still waiting on, for over a month now actually. I guess that there are some UHDs that just can't be done yet for whatever reason. Given how dedicated Mike is, I think we can rest assured that it's just a matter of time before these titles we're waiting for are supported.

I don't really want to speculate too much but I wonder whats around the corner for UHD 's ? It seems like the technology for these new drive types is picking up steam.

Some hashed keys are "unknown"

Also, many times with Blu-ray, there are mistakes with Volume Label, so the same thing could happen with UHD too.

For example, STTNG Season 5 Disc 4 Blu-ray has wrong Volume Label of "STAR TREK TNG S5 D3"

Because of this, can you include English metadata name for disc in the hashed keys file?

For example, in the case of that Star Trek disc, it could be: "STAR TREK TNG S5 D3 (Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 5 Disc 4)"

I notice in BDMV / JAR / * / playlists.xml

Can any of this information be used by MakeMKV, as metadata for naming titles or otherwise?

By the way, for anyone who didn't notice but happens to read this thread... Mike is back to DAILY updates of the hashed keys file!

737 discs and counting!

That was fixed in 1.11.10, but if dump comes from earlier version then there is no metadata there.

Just in case, this is supposed to be fixed with 1.12 . If you submitted a dump and it is not in keys after few days, please double check that:
- You are using a "friendly" drive, and not an "official" one (BU40N or WH16NS60, Pioneer)
- You have "allow contacting web server for updates" enabled in preferences.
- You are opening original disc (not a backup, not ISO, etc)
- You are opening the disc using real disc drive natively (no elby clonedrive, no vmware, no dvdfab or discsoft virtual, etc)

These are the most common causes for a useless dump.

Looking for some help here. Is the error below a problem with the disc? Or an AACS problem? The disc looks absolutely immaculate but I've had this error a few times on different discs. Some discs work perfectly and others I get this error.

MakeMKV v1.12.0 win(x64-release) started
Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:TIMEOUT ON LOGICAL UNIT' occurred while reading 'BD-RE ASUS BW-16D1HT 3.00' at offset '524288'

Did the disk spin down while you were making selections? I remember Mike pointing out that some drives won't wake up if they spin down with a UHD disk in them.

I don't think so. It was the only disc I put in. I did a reboot and it worked the second time around although there's a couple stutters early in the file. It was the Last Witch Hunter. It only does it a couple of times and then the rest of the movie is fine. The stutters repeat consistently in the same locations on additional play throughs. Maybe there's just a bad section on the disc.

It really seems like the UHD discs are touchy.
