I bought 2 drives and both scratch my discs. I need to restore them to 3.11 from 3.10 libredrive so I can get a refund on the defective drives. The recover file I made with the sdftool flasher is a .tar file and it wont let me recover the orginal firmware with it.

Never mind I found 3.10 official on the Asus website and that worked.

I have also bought the same drive today and its on 3.11 enc firmware.

Can you please let me know the steps you used to restore the original firmware before i proceed to making it UHD friendly

You can't. Even ASUS has only 3.10 on its flasher.

Go here and switch to Windows 10. How stupid!

Only the e-green utility is available on the support page hence i asked for the link.

It defaults to Windows 11 and only shows the egreen utility. You have to switch to Windows 10. Then the flasher appears for download. It's what I already wrote above.
