Discs no longer need cleaning with LibreDrive?!

Since LibreDrive has been enabled, I have not had to clean one UHD disc to get it to rip, where as before I had to clean at least 50%, and probably more of the discs.
Is LibreDrive handling the layer switching better? Or have I just had a lucky run of new discs that didn't need cleaning?
Anyone else notice this?

Did you flash the MK firmware?

No, it's a LG WH16NS40 1.02 2115-12-11 14:59 with stock factory firmware.

I just though that I would bring the up again. Since my last post I think that there were only 2 discs that I had to clean. And cleaning didn't fix either one. Black Hawk Down was the most recent one that I ran into. Otherwise the 20 or so new discs that I've ripped have worked fine with not cleaning needed.
Has anyone else noticed this, or is everyone in the habit to cleaning new UHD discs..
If you are in the habit of cleaning discs, try without cleaning your next one and see what happens.
