I'd like to upgrade the following drive but have not clue. I'd also like to backup the existing firmware if possible first.

OS device name: \Device\CdRom1
Current profile: BD-ROM
Manufacturer: HL-DT-ST
Product: BD-RE BP60NB10
Revision: 1.02
Firmware date: 2121-07-08 15:56
Bus encryption flags: 17
Highest AACS version: 72

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible (with patched firmware)
Drive platform: MT1959
Harware support: Yes
Firmware support: No
Firmware type: Original (patched version available)
Firmware version: 1.02
DVD all regions: Possible (with patched firmware)
BD raw data read: Possible (with patched firmware)
BD raw metadata read: Possible (with patched firmware)

You can't backup the complete existing firmware, only the important bits. Use SDFtool Flasher to READ the firmware (important bits) to a 70kb tar file. Then WRITE firmware BP60NB10-NB12 1.02-MK to the drive and you will then be able to rip UHD discs.

Ok, sounds good. Where can I locate the MK file to download?

This one?

mk-firmware-pack-20200720.zip\mk-firmware-pack-20200720\MK\HL-DT-ST\BP60NB10 - ZIP archive
HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-1.02-NM00800-212005070935.bin

No. Go to the SDFtool flasher thread and download my "All you need firmware pack (martyMcNuts)". It has the BP60NB10-NB12 1.02-MK file in it.
