I have two drives thats recently stop reading disk. I'm have a problem with one of my dockers on Unraid. The MKV docker by Djoss stopped recognizing Blu-ray & UHD disk across two different drivers & the ubs one won't recognizing disc when plugged in to my laptop. Any insight on the issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Daft suggestion to start... if the drives were working, have you tried cleaning the disk(s)?

I verified that the disk were clean but the drive still won't load blu-ray or UHD disk. I can hear the drive hunting/seaking. Is there any way to verify laser is working? I do have some slim drive I could try.

Yes, I cut power for 5 minutes. I also verified the lasers are working. I also saw the manufacturer date was 2018. I don't know, it looks like the drive might be dead. How long do drive normally last with moderate use?

If they are LG or ASUS, if you get 12 months out of them these days, you have done well.
