Starts reading disk then fatal error and closes

Post by younguns »

I have been ripping my HDR collection to my library and there are 2 disks that won't let me rip and closes out MakeMKV completely.
Hacksaw Ridge (HDR) & Sicario: Day of the Soldado (Regular Blu-Ray) are the only 2 that seem to have problems.
I've cleaned the disks and retried them numorous times, have reinstalled MakeMKV a couple of times and still get the same problem.
Below is a C&P of the log file MakeMKV created on my last try with Hacksaw Ridge.

Both times it seems to snag at the java line and closes.
I have re-installed java a couple of times.
Any clues as to where I'm going wrong?

Update!

Partially figured it out...now that I've had a pot of coffee.

Installed Oracle Java 11 and it seems to be doing ok.
Still had an error code though on Hacksaw Ridge.
====================================
Using Java runtime from /usr/lib/jvm/java-11-openjdk-amd64/bin/java
DEBUG: Code 0 at E*OA7q|4EXjd!/('4:mY:213133204

It still let me get to the point to where it's saving titles to HDD now.
