Older versions available 1.5.1 seems to have issues?

Just wondering if older versions of MakeMKV are still available for Linux (to compile, I know some distributions have it in the repositories)?
Version 1.5.1 recognizes disks when they're inserted, but when I click to open the disk MakeMKV 1.5.1 errors out. I've tried with new and old DVDs as well as Blu-ray discs. Behaviour is a bit different for DVDs which just show a blank when opening (they error out after about 5 minutes). Blu-rays show a bit of progress, but after about 2 minutes the progress bar gets stuck and the Blu-ray doesn't open after about 5 minutes.
No issues with previous versions. Are others having the same experience with 1.5.1? Running Ubuntu 18.04.
