Newbie needs help with backup disc copy

I have been searching this forum to find a way to make backup copies of my my kids BluRay discs that they can use on our blu-ray player and I can be comfortable knowing that my originals are safe. I can't seem to find any instructions on how to take the MKV data from MakeMKV and get it transferred to a Blu-Ray disc. I'm running Snow Leopard, have a Buffalo external blu-ray drive and 25GB BD-R's. I also have Toast 10 Titanium. I tried to use Toast but the encoding was only half finished after 24 hrs. There must be a better way. I saw a thread about tsMuxER but their website says it is not compatible with Snow Leopard yet. Help! Thanks!
