I've been trying to use this drive to read a BD but am only getting read speeds of 0.2x. I've been trying to search the forums for solutions and am coming across a number of posts but can't seem to find a solution. The drive's max read speed is only 2X but a 10x increase would be a big change from what I'm seeing now. It's an hp BDDVDRW CT21L running version 1.02 of the firmware.
I'm using a 2012 rMBP (running 10.11.2) that should be plenty powerful enough to process the data.
