The latest version keeps producing this error - any sugestions?
Error 'OS error - (iokit/common) can't wire down physical memory' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00010.m2ts' at offset '0'
Backup failed
I'm running Mac OS 10.6.8. It's worked perfectly up until now.

So no solution? I didn't understand the post to be honest.

It's running with Admim privileges, I'm the only one on this Mac.

I can only pass on what I read; I have no direct experience with Mac products.

However, if the topic is kept active, MAYBE Mike will see it and look at what changed between versions to cause this permission issue.

This is bug/incompatibility in DASPI driver on newer OS X. Please try uninstalling DASPI first, very high chance you do not need it. The DASPI will be fixed in a next version.

Did you verify it was DASPI? what happens if you temporarily disable DASPI with kextunload?

How do I know if I have DASPI? I'm not exactly sure what it even is?
