No usable optical drives MakeMKV Beta 1.12.2

I have tried moving to the USB ports on the back of the iMac instead of the USB hub where it was previously connected.

Hi fyl2112. You can try checking if your external optical drive is working fine. Sometime ago I had a similar problem where MakeMKV could not detect any optical drive. Found out my external optical drive is faulty. Try using a different optical drive if you can borrow one. Another way to cross check is to go to “About This Mac”, click on “More Info” button and click “System Report” button, under “Disc Burning” and check if the profile of your optical drive appears. Also try using a different USB cable. :)
