AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON seemed to rip ok, plays in almost any media player etc.. howvever every program I put it in to shrink it down a bit, handbrake, divx convertor will not work, this file crashes both programs, i tried re ripping the disc with updated MAKEMKV to only have the same results?? help !!

I did in fact attempt running it though the NIGHTLY rebuild of HANDBRAKE early this am, can check on it once I get home but it did get alot farther down the line as I left to go to work.....

someone else suggested I run ANY DVD then run MAKEMKV and re-rip it????
think that might make a differnce??

I am gonna give that a try as well

thoughts?

@servocrow

Hi!

Are you sure that the compression programs you've tried to use are capable of processing VC-1 video format?

Yes, its the VC-1 causing issues, but nightly handbrake build should be able to handle it. If not you can use a newer x264 build with ffmpegsource.
